Fertility Flow 4 Week Series
Fertility Flow is for any person who is actively trying to conceive a child– man or woman. No experience is necessary. Class will be a gentle yoga flow with poses crafted to support the reproductive and hormone systems in your body. To further support your success, each class will focus on both yoga sequences and the mindset needed for conception. You are beautiful and strong and you are not alone in your journey.

Prenatal Yoga Flow

We’ll chat, connect, and flow together for 60 minutes. Our unique approach to prenatal yoga is specifically designed to prepare your mind, body, and baby for labor and birth while still making your pregnancy as comfortable as possible. We include poses that bring balance and alignment to the pelvis while seamlessly weaving childbirth education and so much nurturing into each class.

Postpartum Yoga
POSTpartum Yoga Options:

The early weeks of parenthood (cough cough years) may feel overwhelming as you adjust to your new life and identity, and get reacquainted with your non-pregnant body. Our POSTpartum classes work to strengthen areas that have weakened during pregnancy and release tension in areas that feel tight and stressed–both body and mind.
Our POSTpatrum classes aren’t just for moms of infants. Wherever you are in your motherhood journey, you can benefit from the nurturing community and mind-body connection that we cultivate together during these classes.

Babies + Toddlers
Baby + Toddler Classes Include:

Kids Yoga
6 years - 14 years
Kids need movement and mindfulness, too! We offer series, pop-ups, and family yoga classes that are filled with so much fun and sneaky tools to help them develop body awareness and self-regulation tools. Classes are themed to target your little one's interests.

Family yoga
2 years+
All ages and levels come together to experience this joyful, fun practice. From grandparents to infants and everyone in between, no two classes are the same! Start by building partner poses together with your child or your sibling, and finish with some relaxation and rest. You will leave this class connected to your family members and ready to take on your day!

me time yoga
This is the class for all human bodies who need to move, connect, and just take a break from life. Put down your list, drop your kids off in childcare, bring your partner, unwind, and feel supported. Me Time Yoga is a juicy slow flow set to good tunes. We will flow a bit more than our specialty classes with fewer modifications offered. Come as you are, leave what no longer serves you - repeat.
*Unless a seasoned yogi, newly prenatal and postpartum bodies should opt for the PREnatal and POSTpartum Slow Flows.

Barre Classes
We offer barre classes for every stage of your journey. PREnatal Barre, Babywearing Barre, and a Barre class for when you need to just show up and move your body - all stages welcome. Barre class is an energetic workout that blends elements from different exercise styles including ballet, pilates, and yoga.

Support Groups
All Mind Body Baby groups will be peer led by a Mind Body Baby Mama & Educator. Everything is fair game during group time. It is a safe, judgment-free space to get real and raw. We will laugh, we will cry, we will get deep, and we will troubleshoot real-life struggles. You are not alone in your feelings and questions. Let’s figure it out together!

Sliding Scale Pricing
Because we want this community to be accessible to all, we offer sliding scale pricing. Those with an active Medicaid plan or temporary food assistance plan (MI Bridges) are eligible for 30% off any membership. To purchase a discounted membership, please reach out to hello@mindbodybaby.org with a copy of your plan card.
Your privacy is important to us. Your membership will appear and function like any other. We will never ask you for your proof in the studio – this information will remain between the owners and the student.

General FAQ
Yes. You will find many first-time students in the class around you. Class is designed to honor the needs and perhaps the limitations of your body. All postures can be modified to the level of the student.
Yoga will benefit the mind and body at any point in life. As long as you feel ready and your medical provider has cleared you for physical activity, the time to start is now. It's never too late to feel the benefits of yoga, community, and support.
For vaginal births you must wait until bleeding has stopped, around 4 weeks after birth. For cesarean sections you must wait at least 6 weeks. Please consult with your doctor prior to returning to yoga. Check out our Survival Groups in the meantime.
Comfortable clothes that allow for some stretch. No perfumes or strong scents please. We practice barefoot.
mbb studio faq
There is zoned street parking on Lake Dr., in the lot directly behind the studio, the lot next door to Yesterdog, and in the ramp at the Kingsley building (Terra GR).
We wouldn’t want you to come to class to find out it’s full. Our class size is limited so we do recommend pre-registration. If the class is full, registration will not allow you to sign up. Check it out before you leave the house. We recommend signing up for the classes you want to take well in advance.
Yourself, your yoga mat, a water bottle. We do have a limited number of mats available for rent. Don’t want to bring anything? Check out our cubby rentals and leave your things at the studio!
Babies are welcome to attend all baby-friendly classes or you can let them enjoy snuggles in the childcare room. Baby-friendly classes will be listed as such on the schedule. We want to ensure the mamas who need quiet time away are gifted that during class.
We are a no judgement, no expectations kind of place. During class you are fully free to care for your child as you need. Walk around, offer snuggles, breastfeed or bottle feed. We support and encourage a fed and happy baby.
Send us an email, hello@mindbodybaby.org. You can pause once per year for up to 4 months. If you're a prenatal student, you can'll pause when your baby arrives and reactivate once you're ready to return for postpartum classes.
